La 8ème édition des Matinales de la Distribution se concentre sur les développements réglementaires, stratégiques, économiques et opérationnels liés à la distribution de fonds dans l’UE, avec en toile de fond le projet « RIS » (« Retail Investment Strategy »), la proposition d’un nouveau paquet de mesures de protection et de renforcement du marché de détail et ses impacts sur la chaîne de valeur : la définition, le cadre et la rémunération du conseil, la transparence, la réduction des coûts pour l’investisseur, le rapport qualité-prix (« value for money »), …
Nous serons heureux de pouvoir comparer les analyses des experts et de partager les expériences de nos clients et de nos partenaires à travers des panels de discussion et tables rondes.
La conférence se tiendra sous un format mixte : la conférence présentielle sera enregistrée et rediffusée sur les médias de fundglobam.

The 8th edition of the Fund Distribution Breakfasts focuses on regulatory, strategic, economic and operational developments relating to fund distribution in the EU, against the backdrop of the “RIS” (“Retail Investment Strategy”) project, the proposal for a new package of measures to protect and strengthen the retail market and its impact on the value chain: the definition, framework and remuneration of advice, transparency, reducing costs for investors, value for money, …
We look forward to comparing expert analyses and sharing the experiences of our customers and partners through panel discussions and round tables.
The conference will be held in a mixed format: the on-site conference will be recorded and replays will be available on FundGlobam media.

La commercialisation des produits financiers est devenue le sujet de discussion majeur et l’industrie des fonds d’investissement est à l’aube de changements structurants.
Un élan fort a été donné par la Directive MIF 2, entre autres en matière de ciblage des investisseurs, d’adéquation des activités de conseil, de transparence et de coûts, notamment sur le sujet des conflits d’intérêt et de la rémunération des acteurs de la chaine de distribution.
Ont précédé et/ou s’en sont suivi des initiatives de marché telles que l’utilisation de circuits courts de souscription/rachat (par ex. blockchain), la prépondérance de quelques plateformes d’intermédiation B2B, des mouvements de consolidation et l’entrée en lice des fonds de capital-investissement dans l’industrie des fonds, … La 6ème édition des Matinales de la Distribution avait d’ailleurs déjà abordé le sujet en 2021, notamment en confrontant les principales plateformes B2B sur leur perspectives, leurs modèles économiques et leurs coûts.
Un certain nombre de sujets sont à l’ordre du jour des débats parlementaires à la Commission Européenne, notamment la protection et le renforcement du marché des investisseurs de détail et le développement du marché de l’épargne vers l’économie réelle.
The marketing of financial products has become a hot topic, and the investment fund industry is on the threshold of major structural change.
The Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID–II) has given a strong boost to the sector, in particular in terms of investor targeting, suitability of advisory activities, transparency and costs, principally with regard to conflicts of interest and the remuneration of financial intermediaries.
This has been preceded and/or followed by market initiatives such as the use of short subscription/redemption circuits (e.g. blockchain), the preponderance of a few B2B intermediation platforms, market consolidations and the entry of private equity funds into the fund industry, … The 6th edition of the Fund Distribution Breakfasts already tackled this topic in 2021, notably by confronting the main B2B platforms on their strategies, business models and costs.
A number of topics are currently on the agenda of the European Commission’s parliamentary debates, notably the protection and strengthening of the retail investor market and the development of the savings market towards the real economy
